Sandra L. Whiters

Sandra has been touching and helping to better the lives of others in and out of foster care for the last 20 years. Her love, compassion, and willingness to give to others is a trait that is rarely found. She completed her studies for Licensed Practical Nursing in 1998 and has since become a Licensed Therapeutic Foster parent in 2001. While rearing her three biological children, she has also adopted two children and fostered nearly 50 children since her fostering career began.

She became an American Heart Association certified CPR Instructor in 2009, a Certified Nurses Aid instructor in 2011, received her Associate in Allied Health degree in 2012 and became a Purpose Development/ Health and Wellness Coach in 2014. The training and certifications are endless, and this young woman’s determination is not stopping. She plans to be the change in the world that she would love to see.
