“Every kid is one caring adult away from being a success story.” – Josh Shipp

Southern Cities Residential and Family Services, Inc. is a dedicated nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization in Butler, Georgia. We primarily focus on helping at-risk youth between the ages of 6 to 17 years old. Our specialized programs aim to equip youth with the skills they need to succeed in life.

Our Belief

We believe that all youth, especially those from rural counties, need a chance to grow and prosper in society. We feel that the youth should be given every opportunity to become the best person they can be.

Our Mission

Our mission is to improve the quality of life of “at-risk” youth and their families by providing the essential skills necessary for making informed choices. Through structured intervention, the possibility of future aberrant behavior, such as gang-related activity and risk of incarceration, is decreased.

Our Goals

Our goals include housing, counseling, intervention, and prevention services for children and adolescents with mental disorders, behavioral disorders, and impulsive, compulsive, and self-destructive behaviors.
